Excellent, as always. We have been 5-6 times and never had a bad meal. The food, service, and atmosphere are spot on. We can’t wait to go back. Also, I tell everyone I can about the cheddar ice cream, it’s life changing.

Finally got reservations to try Neng Jr's. It was worth the wait. Everything was great. From the food, the staff, the chef, the drinks to the atmosphere, I highly recommend getting on the waitlist to come experience this culinary journey. They take the time to describe each menu item (there are not descriptions in the menu) and are more than willing to help you with your selection. The place is small so not many seats. We sat at the bar which was perfect because we were able to watch all the action in the kitchen. Silver is amazing. Such an enjoyable evening and we will be back!

After many glowing reviews and recommendations from friends within the industry, I have been excited to dine here for years. Part of me was worried, that I may have set my expectations too high and I would be setting myself up for disappointment- After having dinner here tonight, I can confidently say that that was a silly notion and that my expectations were beyond exceeded. The food was executed impeccably and the menu was thoughtful, varied, and creative. Ingredients were high quality, in season, and were treated to highlight their best qualities. The service was outstanding. Our server provided us with excellent recommendations, knew the menu well, and was attentive and welcoming. It was a privilege to dine at Neng Jr’s and I wish their team all the best!

Neng Jrs. Not a name but a marker. A place where the light was low and the air thick with the scent of far off spices. The ensalada, a green and stark offering, lay before me. A landscape of leaves and small, bright morsels. Each bite a subtle reckoning, a quiet exploration. Then, the tilefish. A pale, flaking thing, yielding to the fork. Flavors, not loud, not brash, but whispering of the sea and strange, distant lands. Little pockets of fire, hidden in the folds, a sudden, sharp bloom on the tongue. The room, a place of shadows and angles. Not ornate, but possessed of a certain gravity. A hipness born of restraint, a knowing silence. No gaudy excess, no cheap theatrics. Just the quiet commerce of food and the slow, inexorable turning of the world. A place where the meal was a ritual, a small, dark communion. A place where the weight of things was felt, but not spoken.

First time we went, we showed up without reservations. We told the people in front of us waiting for it to open that we were hoping we could walk in - they were kind enough to stifle their laughter but told us it had taken them months to get a reservation and they wished us luck. Of course, we didn't get in! But we persevered and got seats at the bar in the first sitting with only 8 weeks of lead time - granted we only had Friday night available. So, did it live up to the hype... YES. It was incredible. Our party of 3 ordered almost everything on the short menu and everything was delicious. The sweetbreads in chili topped the show, followed by the Adobo chicken and the Crab Regue pasta... sitting at the bar is cool as you can see everything getting done in the tiny kitchen. Oh, and the tuna tar tar was such a mouthful of flavors, everything balanced perfectly. Anyway, just go (well, just get a reservation and then go!).

After over a year of anticipation, my visit was everything I hoped for and more. The standout dish of the evening was undoubtedly the Pancit Canton. The homemade egg noodles were nothing short of a culinary blessing—perfectly cooked with just the right amount of chew, beautifully interwoven with a medley of fresh vegetables and savory pieces of crispy duck, all seasoned with a masterful touch. The flavors were rich and harmonious, capturing the essence of authentic Filipino cuisine. The dining experience was further enhanced by the exceptionally kind and proactive service. Our server was not only attentive but also incredibly helpful, offering recommendations with kindness and ensuring that every aspect of our meal was perfect. Their attentiveness made us feel welcomed and appreciated, adding a personal touch that made the evening truly special. Overall, the visit was an amazing experience—worth the year-long wait and leaving me eager to return. For anyone looking to delve into the flavors of the Philippines, this restaurant is a must-visit. The combination of delicious, authentic dishes and warm, engaging service guarantees a memorable dining adventure.

Fantastic! Everything was so well balanced, elevated, and delicious. We had a thoughtful fruit appetizer, the most tender mackerel, and a shrimp fried rice that had so many layers of flavor it was somehow comforting and mind blowing. And great cocktails! Finished with the cheddar ice cream - trust me, save room for whatever dessert they may have! All served to our bar seats with care by someone who knew the menu like the back of their hand.
